This instantly-searchable disc, indexed from microfilmed schedules of the British 1891 Census, details more than 1.4 million people enumerated in the counties of Cornwall, Devon and Somerset, England on the night of April 5, 1891.Information requested during the 1891 census included:

• the name of each person that had spent the night in the household,
• relationship to the head of the family,
• street address,
• marital status,
• age at last birthday,
• gender, occupation,
• place of birth.

Each record includes National Archives (PRO) piece and folio reference numbers as well as registration district and other place names for ease in locating census images on microfilm or third-party CD image archives.
